The Cornell Plant Disease Diagnostic Clinic is offering testing of alfalfa for the pathogen Phoma sclerotioides, the causal agent of Brown Root Rot, for the 2009 growing season.

Molecular anlaysis of tissue will be available for a fee of $40 per sample. Please include several plants per sample including the roots. Ship samples early in the week. Include a copy of our sample submission form, and specify that you would like analysis for Brown Root Rot.
